Darcy is the Director of Business Development & Client Relations at The Messina Group.
In this role, Darcy is responsible for managing relationships with TMG clients and expanding TMG’s work by identifying new business opportunities and strategic partnerships. She oversees strategic investment ventures for the company, allowing TMG to take on clients and causes about which TMG is most passionate.
Darcy is also responsible for the firm’s creative marketing services. She works closely with political, non-profit, and corporate clients to successfully create, distribute, and publish visually-compelling content that puts their organization in a stronger market position. This work includes branding, digital, email, and social media content creation, website design, and event management.
As TMG’s longest-serving team member, Darcy has held numerous roles and expanding responsibilities with the firm. Prior to her current role, Darcy was Chief of Staff to the firm’s CEO for three years. Her tenure and institutional knowledge of TMG give her a valuable understanding of the firm’s mission, capabilities, and growth.
Before joining TMG in 2014, Darcy gained experience working on a variety of political campaigns, including President Obama’s 2012 campaign, where her field office was credited with delivering the margin of victory in a state that transformed from a reliably red state to a coveted swing state.
Darcy graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.A.J. degree from the Grady School of Journalism, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the School of Public and International Affairs. She also holds multiple graphic design certificates. When she’s not cheering on her Georgia Bulldogs, Darcy can be found exploring D.C. with her dog, Finnegan.
