Jim Urdanick is The Messina Group’s Chief Financial Officer.
Jim Urdanick serves as Chief Financial Officer at The Messina Group, where he leads the firm’s financial strategy, operations, and planning in close partnership with senior leadership.
Jim brings extensive experience in financial leadership across professional and financial services organizations, with particular depth in mergers and acquisitions, integrations, and strategic finance. Prior to joining TMG, he held senior finance roles at Repario, Crowell & Moring, and Consilio, where he played a central role in guiding organizations through complex transactions, post-merger integrations, and periods of growth. Across these roles, Jim partnered closely with executive teams to align financial strategy with long-term business objectives.
Throughout his career, Jim has been known as a collaborative, strategic partner, translating complex financial data into clear insights that support informed decision-making. His expertise spans financial planning and analysis, operational finance, integration management, and building scalable financial systems to support evolving organizations.
Jim holds a bachelor’s degree from Gettysburg College and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He lives in Arlington, Virginia with his wife and two daughters.
