Arturo is a Senior Communications Associate at Greenbrier.
He has over nine years of experience designing and executing winning policy, communications and digital strategies. His work has focused on both domestic and international campaigns, offices of elected officials, impact-oriented grassroots movements, and corporate initiatives.
In 2012, Arturo was part of the historic Hispanic Media team which helped President Barack Obama win reelection. He also worked with Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid’s Hispanic Media team. While at the U.S. House of Representatives, he specialized in constituent issues within the Department of State, Department of Homeland Security, and the Internal Revenue Service amongst many others. In Alabama, he ran a series of “Know Your Rights” seminars for the local Latino community and worked with them on issues ranging from voter registration, immigration reform advocacy, grassroots community organizing, and civic engagement. At The Messina Group, he works with clients in executing their strategic communications and digital plans to help achieve their goals.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara where he produced original research in Latin American economies, immigration and media in the U.S., and race relations. On weekends, you’ll catch Arturo rooting on his beloved Premier League club Chelsea FC. Arturo is a native of Mexico.
