In a new series, we look at President Biden’s electoral strategy, the battleground states at play in 2024, and what pathways his campaign could pursue to secure the crucial 270 electoral votes he needs to win a second term.
In 2020, Biden got 306 electoral votes, winning the key battleground states of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
But a lot has changed in the past four years, so the campaign is focusing real resources on voter registration, voter education, and turnout in Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada again to guarantee victory in the Electoral College.
As you’ll see in the video, a lot has to go right for the Biden campaign to re-do its strategy and repeat its 2020 victory this year. It’s a tall order, but it’s possible if Democrats show up – everywhere.
