Emilie is a Vice President at Greenbrier.
Emilie joins Greenbrier after a decade building and scaling communications for top-flight startups. Most recently, she was the first communications leader at Asana, the workplace app created by Facebook cofounder Dustin Moskovitz, where she helped grow the company from a humble Silicon Valley beta app to a billions-dollar unicorn with customers across the globe. Before being recruited into then-client Asana, she led communications and publicity programs at the LaunchSquad agency for companies that went on to IPO or be acquired by the likes of Grubhub and GE. A master of both strategic planning and unrelenting tactical execution, Emilie brings a unique combination of in-house empathy and agency work ethic to Greenbrier.
She’s an avid cyclist with a strong opinion (loosely held) that it’s hard to make a great pale ale. Her counternarrative is that San Francisco is getting better because of the tech industry. Relatedly, she lives with her wife in Noe Valley.
